So I pulled out my dehydrator, since it’s peach season it has been getting a lot of work.  I have done several bags of peach slices.  Four trays of peach leather and I plan on doing several more trays of peach leather.   I also plan on drying some of my herbs, I have lemon balm, both pineapple and regular sage, sweet basil, sweet marjoram, rosemary, parsley, mint.

I have three dehydrators, and FD-20 an FD-50/30 and an FD-60.  The FD-50/30 and the FD-60, both expand to 12 trays, and they both are temperature controllable.  The FD-50/30 has the fan on the bottom, as does my FD-20, the FD-60  has a fan on top and supposedly has better air flow because of it.  The FD-20 is expandable to only 6 trays,  which is one of the reasons I am making it my jerky only dehydrator.   I don’t make as much jerky as I do fruit leather and fruit slices.  I also like to dry the herbs I grow and expanding the dehydrator that expands to twelve makes them to me more ideal for that.
