For a while I have been wanting to get some more female ducks, I have been talking back and forth between several people for a while, trying to figure out what kind I wanted.  I decided that since they were going to be for egg laying purposes, that I didn’t really care about breed.  So yesterday, I finally broke down and went and got some new ducks.  I was able to get 13 ducks, 5 or 6 of those were males, but I can sell any that I don’t want to keep.   I drove out to the ladies house, she gave me excellent directions and without realizing it had turned around in her drive way, because I thought I was at the wrong house, which is how I got stuck.  I then pulled into another driveway, only to find out that it was actually a field.   I had my youngest with me, as her sister’s were with my in laws at our church, since they have decided they want to go to choir practice.   We knocked on about 4 houses, before we found someone home that could help get me out, all it took was three guy’s pushing to get me out of the rut I was in and they were even nice enough to back my car(MINI-VAN) all the way out so I wouldn’t get stuck again.    I had brought four boxes to put the duck’s in, not realizing just how big the ducks I was getting were.  I got them home, added them to my duck pen and they took a while to settle in, but when I checked on them this morning, they were acting like they had been here the whole time.   Just so you know, I think I need a 4wheel drive truck.
