Recently I have done several trades which was new to me and very fun, I received some great coins this way. It seemes that a fair trade is usually as follows: copper penny for copper penny. 2 zincs for a copper penny. 2 copper pennies for a nickle, 2 nickles, 4 zincs or 4 coppers for a quarter. Most people also have a list of what they want and what they have to trade, or coins from machines that they can get to easily. Here in GA we about about 2-5 hours away from any of the nearest machines, but we could get to them when we go on vacations.
